Senior Java Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to architect and develop high-impact backend solutions addressing AI-driven SEO disruptions for a large-scale job search platform. You will design and build new page architectures and conversion funnels using Java and Spring, develop APIs backed by MySQL and PostgreSQL, and drive organic traffic recovery initiatives that strategically align new user acquisition with core revenue goals. The role requires 4+ years of Java production experience with strong Spring framework depth.

What you will do

• Define and prioritize user stories and epics across multiple workstreams to ensure engineering efforts directly reduce systemic risk;
• Drive the adoption framework for Business Unit Architecture Champions, focusing on policy modernization and content uplift;
• Ensure built solutions, including ASPM ingestion and AI-enabled SDLC scanning, reduce developer friction and enhance the internal user journey;
• Bridge the gap between executive security mandates and Agile execution teams.

Must haves

• 5+ years in Technical Product Management or as a Product Owner, ideally building internal developer platforms, security tooling, or DevSecOps products;
• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles or cloud architecture;
• Ability to drive product strategy from inception to adoption autonomously;
• Data-driven decision-making and cross-functional leadership without requiring day-to-day direction;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

• Prior experience acting as a Product Owner for dedicated infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
