Senior JavaScript Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer to support the modernization of a large-scale JavaScript ecosystem, assisting with the migration of 2,000+ applications to the latest JavaScript versions and leading the transition from npm to pnpm. You will troubleshoot migration issues, collaborate broadly across engineering teams, and contribute to build optimization and dependency management initiatives. The role requires 4+ years of JavaScript experience, deep familiarity with the open-source ecosystem, and flexible hours to overlap with the US team.

What you will do

• Support the JavaScript ecosystem modernization;
• Assist with the migration of 2,000+ applications to the latest JavaScript versions;
• Assist with the migration from npm to pnpm;
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to assist with migrations.

Must haves

• +4 hands-on years of experience with JavaScript;
• Experience migrating applications to new JavaScript versions;
• Experience using pnpm;
• Deep understanding of the JavaScript open-source ecosystem;
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving application migration issues;
• Strong collaboration and communication skills;
• Ability to work flexible hours to overlap with the US team;
• Upper-intermediate English level.
