About the role

We are looking for a UX Designer to drive quality and innovation across messaging experiences on a large-scale job marketplace, covering both mobile app and desktop web surfaces for job seekers and employers. You will design new AI-powered messaging features, improve employer and job seeker responsiveness through reply prompts and re-engagement patterns, and produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups validated through A/B testing and user research. The role requires 3+ years of product UX experience and strong Figma proficiency.

What you will do

  • Improve messaging experiences across mobile and desktop web applications for job seekers and employers;
  • Design UX for AI-powered messaging features;
  • Design features that improve employer and job seeker responsiveness, including reply prompts, expectation setting, status transparency, and re-engagement patterns;
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and high-fidelity mockups using established design systems;
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and research teams across distributed environments;
  • Validate design solutions through A/B testing and qualitative user research.

Must haves

  • 3+ years of professional, hands-on product UX experience;
  • Experience with end-to-end product UX design, including interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and user journeys demonstrated through a portfolio;
  • Experience designing complex workflow or data-heavy enterprise experiences;
  • Strong proficiency with Figma;
  • Experience with prototyping and design handoff workflows;
  • Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly with minimal oversight;
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Research, and Legal teams;
  • Experience integrating UX research insights and iterating on user feedback;
  • Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

  • Experience designing messaging, inbox, communications, or notification products;
  • Accessibility expertise, including WCAG familiarity and designing for assistive technology;
  • Experience with international or localized products, especially for the Japanese market;
  • Experience with mobile-first design;
  • Experience with A/B testing programs;
  • Prior contractor or embedded-team experience within a large product organization.
