What You'll Be Doing
- Provide day-to-day support for both production and non-production platform environments
- Respond to and resolve customer and platform support requests during business hours
- Perform platform upgrades and enhancements, including Kubernetes and Rancher upgrades
- Identify, assess and remediate security vulnerabilities across the platform
- Execute platform rebuilds through automation and Infrastructure as Code
- Support ongoing platform maintenance and operational excellence initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement opportunities across reliability, automation and support processes
- Enhance observability capabilities through improved monitoring, dashboards and alerting
- Work closely with engineering and platform teams to maintain platform health and availability
- Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks and support procedures
Essential
- Strong experience working with AWS
- Strong containerisation experience using Docker
- Proven experience supporting large-scale Kubernetes platforms in enterprise environments
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as New Relic and Splunk
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment tooling, including:GitHubGitHub ActionsBamboo

- Strong troubleshooting, incident management and platform support capabilities
