What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Kotlin.
- Build integrations with third-party systems, APIs, webhooks, and external platforms.
- Create reliable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders.
- Develop frontend functionality using React when required.
- Help improve onboarding, automation, and operational workflows through technology.
- Participate directly in discussions with U.S.-based stakeholders.
Must-Have
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong production experience with Kotlin.
- Experience building backend services using Spring Boot, Ktor, or similar frameworks.
- Solid React experience.
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge.
- Experience integrating external APIs and third-party platforms.
- Strong automated testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end).
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Excellent English communication skills.
