Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
- Infrastructure as Code: Build, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- CI/CD Automation: Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, automated software delivery across multiple environments.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Security & Compliance: Apply cloud security best practices, IAM policies, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance standards across infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with software engineers, architects, and technical leadership to improve deployment processes, platform scalability, and developer experience.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- AWS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience designing and operating production workloads on AWS, including services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, S3, Route 53, and Auto Scaling.
- Infrastructure as Code: Proven experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC tools.
- CI/CD: Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Containers: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Monitoring: Experience implementing observability solutions using CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or similar tools.
- Scripting: Proficiency with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages for automation.
Nice to haves
- AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Experience with Helm and Kubernetes Operators.
- Knowledge of networking, DNS, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Experience supporting high-availability production systems.
- Exposure to FinOps or cloud cost optimization initiatives.
