Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate on frontend development using React when needed.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Participate in software architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and Software Engineers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical design sessions, and code reviews.
- Research, evaluate, and implement modern frameworks, tools, and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards, platform quality, and development processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer working in production environments.
- Strong backend development experience using Python.
- Experience developing modern web applications with React.
- Hands-on experience working with AWS.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience building scalable cloud-native applications.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and software design principles.
- Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, or similar Python frameworks.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience working with Microservices Architecture.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Generative AI technologies.
- Experience working on SaaS products or product-oriented companies.
