About the role

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to design, build, and maintain features that power Bumble’s consumer-facing dating experience. You will work in Swift across UIKit and SwiftUI, owning features end-to-end from technical design through App Store delivery while contributing to iOS architecture standards in a large, fast-moving codebase. The role includes mentoring junior engineers and integrating AI-assisted development tools into the engineering workflow.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS features that power consumer-facing experiences;
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to shape product vision, define requirements, and translate ideas into thoughtful iOS implementations;
  • Own iOS features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through testing, release, and iteration;
  • Contribute to and evolve the iOS architecture and engineering standards, balancing long-term maintainability with rapid product delivery;
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and developer experience;
  • Help mature the team’s approach to AI usage by sharing best practices, tooling, and learnings with other engineers;
  • Support and mentor other iOS engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.

Must haves

  • 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping production iOS applications;
  • Strong proficiency in Swift with deep experience in UIKit and working knowledge of SwiftUI in production environments;
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable iOS architectures such as MVVM, TCA, or VIPER in large codebases;
  • Solid understanding of iOS concurrency and performance, including async/await, GCD, and memory management;
  • Experience integrating and consuming networked APIs from iOS clients, including error handling and performance considerations;
  • Strong knowledge of iOS platform fundamentals, including app lifecycle, view rendering, Auto Layout, accessibility, and localization;
  • Experience owning iOS features end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, testing, and App Store delivery;
  • Upper-intermediate English level.
