Workday Financials Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Workday Financials Consultant to provide hands-on configuration and support across multiple Workday Financials domains on a contract basis within a lean, high-performing Finance Solution Delivery team. You will troubleshoot production issues, design scalable solutions, and partner with Finance, Accounting, and Procurement stakeholders to translate business requirements into system solutions — with priority domains including Financial Accounting, Expenses, and Business Assets. The role requires 4+ years of Workday Financials experience and the ability to operate independently across multiple functional areas.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on configuration and support across multiple Workday Financials domains;
• Act as a flexible resource, stepping into priority areas based on business demand;
• Support production issues, troubleshoot defects, and deliver timely resolutions;
• Design and implement scalable solutions aligned with long-term platform health;
• Partner with functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into system solutions;
• Contribute to ongoing enhancements, optimizations, and process improvements.

Must haves

• 4+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience;
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes within Workday;
• Experience supporting both production support and project-based work;
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment;
• Strong problem-solving and systems thinking capabilities;
• Proven expertise across multiple Financials domains, including Financial Accounting, Expenses, Business Assets, Banking & Settlement, and Procurement;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

• Experience with Workday Accounting Center and Prism;
• Experience working in a lean team with broad domain ownership;
• Familiarity with Workday integrations and reporting;
• Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives;
• Exposure to Workday Orchestrations or automation frameworks;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
