Software Engineering & Architecture: Design and implement highly scalable, reliable distributed systems to manage vehicle package and configuration upgrades for millions of vehicles.
Technical Guidance: Provide expertise to team members, assisting in solving complex technical challenges and making critical architectural decisions to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of software developers and engineers, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence: Establish methodologies and tools to enhance team productivity and code quality, while driving the implementation of industry best practices and standards.
Project & Stakeholder Management: Define project scope and timelines with stakeholders, monitoring progress and mitigating risks to ensure successful completion within budget and schedule.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, firmware teams, and QA engineers to align technical requirements with business objectives and ensure smooth project execution.

Professional Experience: 9+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record of leading technical professionals.
Core Fundamentals: Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
Technical Proficiency: Expert in writing at least one production-grade programming language (Java, C#, Ruby, Python, or Golang).
System Design: Deep experience in designing and implementing production-grade microservices and cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate project status, risks, and technical concepts to both executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Startup Mindset: A willingness to wear multiple hats and adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Orchestration Expertise: Experience developing large-scale deployment or workflow orchestration systems.
Automotive Security: Good understanding of security, certificates, and encryption, including familiarity with update frameworks like TUF or Uptane.
Advanced Systems Knowledge: Experience with streaming architectures and low-latency environments to support real-time vehicle data.
