Lead Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to drive technical execution and architectural alignment for AI-powered tools embedded within an AWS Bedrock environment. You will govern code quality through PR reviews, design and deploy containerized applications using Python and FastAPI on the backend and TypeScript and React on the frontend, and integrate complex AI features into existing platform architecture without disrupting current workflows. The role requires 7+ years of full stack engineering experience with strong architectural capabilities and comfort operating exclusively in Mac or Linux terminal environments.

What you will do

• Review all PRs and ensure high standards of code quality, preventing “spaghetti code” and distractions;
• Design and deploy containerized applications utilizing REST APIs;
• Embed complex logic and AI features into the existing platform architecture without disrupting current workflows;
• Guide senior developers and ensure alignment with internal engineering practices.

Must haves

• 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong architectural capabilities;
• Advanced proficiency in Python (FastAPI) for backend development;
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend development;
• Expertise with containerization (Docker), modern tooling (UV), and PostgreSQL;
• Strict comfort operating exclusively within Mac or Linux terminal environments;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

• Experience utilizing Claude Code and AWS Bedrock for AI-assisted development.
