Lead planning and delivery across the generative model, geometry pipeline, and BDG APIs.
Build out the European BDG team — attract strong computational geometry engineers in the region and grow the team sustainably.
Partner with PMs early to scope PRDs, surface constraints, and assess feasibility before engineer owners take over delivery.
Evaluate technical proposals from your team and route them forward — to the Director of Engineering when scoped to your team, or to the ARC when they cut across squads.
Coordinate with the other BDG EM to keep technical direction, interfaces, and the platform coherent across both teams.
Shape a clean contract between the building model and Higharc Studio's interaction and rendering systems as its API surface matures.
Run an async-first, minimal-meeting team with clear ownership and high accountability.

5+ years in software engineering with significant time in CAD/CAM or computational geometry, and 2+ years managing technically deep engineering teams.
Deep background in computational geometry (boolean operations, mesh processing, BReps, constraint solving, or related areas).
Strong expertise in parametric and generative modeling of 2D and 3D geometries — feature-based modeling, history graphs, dependency propagation, and keeping parametric systems robust at scale.
Experience with platform development and API design for multiple internal (and ideally external) consumers, with attention to versioning, performance, and developer experience.
Familiarity with geometry kernels — commercial, open-source, or custom-built — and comfort with the trade-offs.
Fluency in AI-supported software development practices and active use of them in your engineering workflow.
A delivery track record in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Based in a European timezone.
