About the Role
- Managing our 300+ integrations: We get tens of requests for new destinations and even more requests to add functionality to our existing integrations. You’ll be responsible for prioritizing these requests to balance enabling immediate deals with longer-term business strategy and engineering improvements.
- Sync speed: Customers want to sync large volumes of data to a diverse set of destinations (HTTP APIs, file transfers, data warehouses), each with its own limitations. We need to ensure that we’re maximizing our performance via a combination of parallelism, batching, rate-limit detection, and algorithmic optimizations.
- AI developer productivity and enablement: How can rapid advances in AI help us ship faster and with higher quality?
About You

- Form clear opinions about ambiguous problems while communicating with clarity.
- [Bonus] Have experience building and scaling a platform with hundreds of API integrations.
Interview Process
- Recruiter Screen [30m]: Introductory call with our recruiting team to get to know each other and see if the role could be a good mutual fit.
- Hiring Manager Conversation [30m]: Meet with the hiring manager to discuss the role, your previous experiences, and leadership style.
- Leadership and Management [60m]: A deep dive into leadership practices, past companies, and past leadership roles.
- System Design Interview [90m]: Work with an engineer to architect a system at a conceptual level. You’ll start from customer requirements and work all the way down to specific technical implementation.
- Past Project Interview [60m]: Reflect on a past project with an engineering leader, going deep into both technical and project management details.
- Prioritization and Execution [60m]: Discuss how you think about impact, make priority tradeoffs, and measure technical excellence with the hiring manager.
