Responsibilities
- As a SE Manager for Cloudflare SoCal Region, you’ll be responsible for managing cross functional, full sales life cycle technical activities for Cloudflare customers. The role requires someone with strong leadership, interpersonal, and business acumen to work with Sales to grow our account base. The SE Manager will manage a team of SEs that are geographically distributed in the SoCal region. The team partners with the West Sales team and Customer Success and is responsible for providing the value of Cloudflare products to customers and prospects

- 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or another related field or its equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience with internet technologies / protocols and / or cloud technologies.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams of Solutions Engineers or similar roles.
- Experience managing opportunity sales cycles and identifying technical proof activities
- Demonstrated operations and organization skills implementation and driving best practices with cross functional organizations.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven track record of successfully building collaboration around important initiatives.
- Successful track record of working and influencing matrixed organizations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business related subjects to all audiences.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, and customer focus.
- Familiarity with Sales industry standards such as MEDDPICC, BANT, Sales cycles, POCs, Pre-Sales methodologies, etc.
Compensation
- For Los Angeles or San Diego based hires: Estimated annual salary of $253,000 - $278,000
